"My experience today was a bad experience. Although I called the office and made an appointment but I was surprised to find that my name was not listed when I arrived in the office . It took them while to answer my simple questions about changes in my policy . After the review, Ms. Rebecca Sandoval kindly responded and asked me to contact her and meet her and I did .because the issue is important , I asked my wife who is in our insurance policy to go with my son to her office to discuss our policy to know the reason for the 150% increase in our policy despite that fact that we do not have points in our driving record , and we insisted to meet her personally . I was traveling out of Asheville , my wife and my son Marwan went to the office to meet Ms Sandoval , but she couldn't meet her last Wed 11/15 , they met another associate to discuss the huge increase in the insurance and the possibilities of adding my young son as a fourth driver ,and to add a second car to our insurance . Unfortunately , the associate provided wrong information and confused us more than helping us . At this we are thinking seriously of all alternatives if the office does not take our issues seriously . I have to mention that we have combined home & car insurance with the office. We decided not to renew our car's insurance with the office . Now after Hurricane Helen and the damage that we have at our house , we faced several difficulties with the State Farm in resolving our claim for the damage of our property . The office failed now to give us even the original copy of our home insurance , and the estimates of our damage did not include major issues . The process of cleaning the insurance check is also very complicated."

"We are so grateful for the amazing and quick help when your team helped us! On Thursday, we were driving on the freeway to go on a trip, with several hours to go, and suddenly there was an explosion, and our sunroof glass blew up! Soon after that, it started raining and water started dripping into our car! We didn’t know when and if the fabric roof would collapse and the pouring rain would get in. We called Rebecca Sandoval’s office and described the dangerous situation that we were in and they immediately contacted a sunroof repair place at our destination, got permission for us to come in and bring the car, overnighted sunroof glass so that we could have the job done the next day Friday, which was the only workday left before our departure home early Monday morning! We were able to get the job repaired on Friday and drive home safely on Monday morning. All of the work was done in a kind, efficient, outstanding way. "I'm really disappointed with State Farm. I pay them over $3200/year for coverage on two houses and multiple vehicles. With the storm that has happened, they've been incredibly unresponsive and dismissive. It took over two weeks to get a claims adjuster out to my property--including a missed appointment because he went to the wrong address. I was told they will not cover my claim. I need a denial letter to pursue options with FEMA but in almost a week I've yet to receive one. How long does it take for somebody to go into a computer system and click a "deny claim" button? I sent in a message via their site yesterday and nobody has responded. When I called the Sandoval office about the claim a week or so ago they basically told me I had to deal with this myself, and suggested I drive to a location in town where their adjusters are. Mind you, this was 4 weeks after the storm. I expect better service than "deal with this yourself". They've never been great to work with. They misled me about my coverage when I got it and told me that I had good coverage on my houses when, in reality, I had no flood coverage. They never mentioned that floods were not covered. If my rental house had been destroyed in the storm like the one just down the road I would have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars and been financially ruined. Unacceptable. Once things calm down I'll be pursuing other insurance options."

All home and rental property declarations pages for every NC licensed insurance company state in bold type that flood, landslide and mudslide are not covered. I am sorry that your claim was denied and we are glad to pursue your denial letter if you contact us. My team has been active and in place using a generator and Starlink since the Monday following the storm with extended business hours despite great continuing personal losses. If you would like to choose another agency, please let me know. Otherwise, please contact us so that we can help. "

"Completely unhelpful. State Farm did a second inspection, and would not show me the original inspection. All of this took 3 months. The local office did not care, just argued that it was not on them. Well who sold the policy? Who do I pay? Forget getting a valid claim paid, just be happy if they don't waste your time and obfuscate. Follow up - Of course once you leave a bad review, they reach out and feign concern and a willingness to help. Don't fall for this place. Nicities and fake smiles won't help you fix your property while Rebecca Sandoval and State Farm laugh all the way to the bank."
