"I'm really disappointed with State Farm. I pay them over $3200/year for coverage on two houses and multiple vehicles. With the storm that has happened, they've been incredibly unresponsive and dismissive. It took over two weeks to get a claims adjuster out to my property--including a missed appointment because he went to the wrong address. I was told they will not cover my claim. I need a denial letter to pursue options with FEMA but in almost a week I've yet to receive one. How long does it take for somebody to go into a computer system and click a "deny claim" button? I sent in a message via their site yesterday and nobody has responded. When I called the Sandoval office about the claim a week or so ago they basically told me I had to deal with this myself, and suggested I drive to a location in town where their adjusters are. Mind you, this was 4 weeks after the storm. I expect better service than "deal with this yourself". They've never been great to work with. They misled me about my coverage when I got it and told me that I had good coverage on my houses when, in reality, I had no flood coverage. They never mentioned that floods were not covered. If my rental house had been destroyed in the storm like the one just down the road I would have lost hundreds of thousands of dollars and been financially ruined. Unacceptable. Once things calm down I'll be pursuing other insurance options."

I am sorry that your claim was denied and we are glad to pursue your denial letter if you contact us. My team has been active and in place using a generator and Starlink since the Monday following the storm with extended business hours despite great continuing personal losses. "I worked with Kyle Perry from this agency. I was moving between states and had to change both my homeowner insurance and auto. "I had a problem connecting my FOB to my State farm app to up date requested communication..Kyle Perry with Rebecca Sandoval office was fantastic, he quickly offered to help, solved the problem and helped understand how to work it..standing outside in 100 degree heat patiently with this handicaped old guy with the technology..I have a long term relationship with Rebecca's agency always quickly getting the problem i had resolved.. "What to say about Brian Ortega at Rebecca Sandoval's State Farm in Asheville. I was in a very unusual and stressful external situation in a move to a different country, and Brian went above and beyond to ensure I had everything that I needed to resolve the issue. Not only did he go out of his way to deliver on some very specific needs, he followed up numerous times to make sure I was ok, and to confirm I didn't need any further assistance. "Completely unhelpful. State Farm did a second inspection, and would not show me the original inspection. All of this took 3 months. The local office did not care, just argued that it was not on them. Well who sold the policy? Who do I pay? Forget getting a valid claim paid, just be happy if they don't waste your time and obfuscate. Follow up - Of course once you leave a bad review, they reach out and feign concern and a willingness to help. Don't fall for this place. Nicities and fake smiles won't help you fix your property while Rebecca Sandoval and State Farm laugh all the way to the bank."

"Can’t say enough good things about my experience as their customer. Had been a 10yr Geico customer and was dropped because I missed a bill after moving during Covid. Then they wanted to charge me double to reinstate me. Switched over to State Farm through this office and the level of personal care is unmatched. They stay on top of my policies and actively work to make sure I’m getting the best deal and not paying for more than I need. You won’t regret it."

"We worked with Patrick to review our homeowners and automobile insurance coverages. After he reviewed our previous policies, we found out our former insurance was about half of what we needed. Patrick made sure we were properly (but not overly) insured. The process was pleasant and fast. Highly recommend this agency."

"Coleman and Umberto were so helpful and made the process of moving states a BREEZE. They were very responsive, friendly, and quick. "Was going to court to try an get my citation dismissed and found that I needed a letter from State Farm. I had requested one right after the wreck but it was too early to get it. Was told I would get it when the claim was settled. I got busy with taxes, a very sick cat, and emergency repairs, and realized, a few hours before I was due in court, that I had never gotten the letter. I called my agent's office and spoke to Grace Corner, who understood my dilemma and promised that she would do all she could to get it to me before I left the house. Shortly after, Grace called to tell me that she was emailing a letter to me that she had pressed the Claims Dept. to rush through. I printed it, took it to court and got the citation dismissed, no fine, no points on my insurance and no court fees! I am so impressed with Grace's commitment and her sense of urgency in getting it done - she went "above and beyond" with Customer Service. She has my appreciation and my respect for her professionalism and commitment. Thank you, Grace, you are a real credit to State Farm. Hope they appreciate your work as much as I do."
